MMARIE-ANTOINETTE KATOTO,TOP SCORER IN PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HISTORY

By scoring her 131st and 132nd goals today against Guingamp, in matchday 14 of the Arkema D1, Marie-Antoinette Katoto has become Paris Saint-Germain's all-time leading scorer.

 

The French international is now ahead of Marie-Laure Delie, who scored 131 times in a Parisian shirt between 2007 and 2018.

 

Marie-Antoinette Katoto arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in 2011 at the age of 12 and spent her entire youth career with the Rouge et Bleu. She won the French Championship with the U19 women’s team in 2016.

 

"MAK" scored the first of her 132 goals in 148 games with Paris in May 2015, against Rodez, a few months after her debut in the professional team.

 

In the 2017-2018 season, the Parisian finished top scorer in the French Championship with 22 goals. The same year, she scored the winning goal in the Coupe de France final against Olympique Lyonnais.

 

The 23-year-old striker was again crowned top scorer in the league the following season, with 16 goals.

 

Last season, the Colombes native won the French Championship title, the first in the history of the Paris Saint-Germain women's team.

 

Paris Saint-Germain would like to congratulate Marie-Antoinette Katoto on this new record, set at only 23 years old.
