Thierry Omeyer appointed as General Manager of Paris Saint-Germain Handball

In anticipation of Bruno Martini's departure, scheduled for January 15, the Club has decided to appoint Thierry Omeyer as General Manager of Paris Saint-Germain Handball.

The former French international goalkeeper, who has held the position of sports co-ordinator of the Club's handball section since the end of his playing career in June 2019, will assume his new duties as of January 2021.

Thierry Omeyer played for Paris Saint-Germain Handball for five seasons, winning five French league titles, two Coupes de France, three Coupes de la Ligue and two Trophées des Champions.

He is also one of France's most successful sportsmen, in both his club and international careers, and holds a university degree in general management from the CDES of Limoges.

Thierry will rely in particular on Daniel Narcisse, who will continue to co-ordinate Paris Saint Germain Handball's commercial development, but also on all the Club's employees to achieve continued success.

As General Manager of the Handball section, Thierry will report directly to the Managing Director.

Proud to integrate former players in the management of the Club, Paris Saint Germain wishes Thierry every success with his new missions.
