Ferran Solé extends his contract with Paris Saint-Germain Handball

Paris Saint-Germain Handball is pleased to announce the extension of Ferran Solé's contract for another season. The Spanish right-winger is now linked to the Club until 30 June 2024.

Born in Barcelona (Spain), Ferran Solé was trained at BM Granollers, where he played for five seasons before moving to France and joining Fénix Toulouse Handball in 2016.

In the summer of 2020, the Spanish international signed with Paris Saint-Germain. In 107 appearances for Les Rouge et Bleu, the Parisian number 14 has scored 344 goals in all competitions and won two Starligues (2021, 2022) and two Coupes de France (2021, 2022).

With the Spanish national team, the 30-year-old left-hander was named best right-winger of the 2018 European Championship - a competition he has won twice with Spain (2018, 2020).

"We are very happy to continue with Ferran, who has just won the bronze medal with the Spanish national team at the World Championship. He is also a valuable member of our group, with his total commitment and determination. The Club is very satisfied with the pairing he forms with compatriot David Balaguer on the right wing. This contract extension allows us to ensure continuity in this position and to have an additional experienced asset for next season."
Thierry Omeyer, General Manager of Paris Saint-Germain Handball

"Extending my stay at Paris Saint-Germain Handball was a priority for me. For three seasons now, I have had the opportunity to play in a high-quality squad, with talented players and under the direction of one of the best coaches in the world. The Club has shown its confidence in me with this new contract and I thank them for it. I will continue to give my best for our shirt and our supporters, with the ambition to win every competitions."
