Abdou Diallo loaned to RB Leipzig
Abdou Diallo has joined Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, on loan with a purchase option.
The Franco-Senegalese defender began his career at the AS Monaco youth academy, making his first-team debut on 14 December 2014 against Olympique de Marseille. After a loan spell at Zulte Waregem in 2015/16, Abdou Diallo returned to the principality and was crowned Ligue 1 champion in 2016/17.
Born in Tours, he then moved to the Bundesliga with FSV Mainz for the 2017/18 season before leaving for Borussia Dortmund 12 months later. Another year on and having finished runner-up in the German top flight, he left for Paris Saint-Germain.
With the capital club, Abdou Diallo played 75 games and won seven trophies: 2 Ligue 1 titles (2019/20 & 2021/22), 2 Coupes de France (2019/20 & 2020/21), 1 Coupe de la Ligue (2019/20) and 2 Trophées des champions (2019 and 2020).
A France international from U16 to U21 level, he decided to play his senior international football for Senegal, and now has 17 caps for the Lions of Teranga.
Paris Saint-Germain would like to wish Abdou Diallo a great season in his new colours.
