About the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy and pre-training academy

Founded in 1970, Paris Saint-Germain is the most successful club and sports franchise in France and one of the best clubs on the European scene. Owned by Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) since 2011, the Club has achieved spectacular results on and off the pitch. In addition to its men's football team, Paris Saint-Germain is an avant-garde multisport club with e-sports, judo, women's football and handball sections, as well as a youth academy and pre-training centre. The Club has a large and growing community of over 200 million followers on social networks, making it one of the most important in world sport.

Created in 1974, the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy is committed to passing on knowledge, sporting values and experience to young footballers. Many players who have passed through the youth academy are now shining as professionals, both at Paris Saint-Germain and other major clubs in France and Europe. This is proof of the expertise of the Parisian training programme.

Benefiting from the exceptional facilities of the PSG Campus, the Parisian educators work in optimal conditions to enable young people to learn and integrate into the Paris Saint-Germain universe, in close proximity to the professional players.

Voted best youth academy by the French Football Federation in 2019 and 2020, the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy has been in the Prestige and Class A categories in recent seasons. A true centre of excellence, it perfectly meets the standards set out in the specifications of the National Technical Directorate and thus symbolises the success of the Parisian training programme.

The aim of the youth academy is to train elite players while offering them a suitable academic curriculum. It regularly welcomes promising new talents from the world of football. Thanks to its close relationship with clubs in the Paris region, many young children, from the age of 13, join the capital club's pre-training centre with the aim of joining the youth academy at the age of 15. They are thus able to combine practising their favourite sport with continuing their studies.
