Paris Saint-Germain successfully organised the ninth edition of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy World Cup at the Campus PSG and Parc des Princes from 17th to 20th May 2025.
The ninth edition of the PSG Academy World Cup once again fulfilled all promises, bringing together around 500 young players – boys and girls aged 10 to 15 – for a unique experience that combined football, cultural discovery and camaraderie. This year, the participants represented 17 different countries: Canada, USA West, USA East, West Indies, Brazil, United Kingdom, France, Morocco, Jordan, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Rwanda and Qatar.
Having prepared all year following Paris Saint-Germain’s training methods, imparted by coaches trained by the Club, the 39 competing teams put on a top-class show in the Parisian venues. The group phase matches were played on the pitches in the Campus PSG, before the finals brought the event to a close in the Parc des Princes, a symbolic venue for these enthusiastic young players.
The event also treated the children and their coaches to some unforgettable experiences, such as performing a lap of honour in front of the spectators in the Parc des Princes during the Club’s last championship match against Auxerre. The participants also got to enjoy a ride on a river boat along the Seine, allowing them to admire some of the French capital’s most famous landmarks.
Finally, after a quick rest, it was time for the finals, the prizegiving ceremony in the Parc des Princes and the closing party, which brought all 17 delegations together for a lively celebration punctuated with a DJ set, entertainment and plenty of surprises.
