In addition to being named as the Player of the Tournament at UEFA EURO 2020 and winning the Yashin Trophy, the 25-year-old Paris 'keeper has now earned himself another individual award in the form of the very same one that he took home in 2022.

Chawinga was also named as the Player of the Season in both the Chinese Women's Super League in 2018 and 2019 – back when she was plying her trade for Jiangsu Suning – and in Serie A in 2023 with Inter Milan.

The Paris player was nominated for this year's award alongside her club teammates Grace Geyoro and Sakina Karchaoui as well as Lyon's Lindsey Horan and Ada Hegerberg.
