Paris Saint-Germain Celebrates Club Athletes' Outstanding Achievements at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

Paris Saint-Germain is proud to announce that its athletes secured an impressive total of 16 medals at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, showcasing their remarkable talent, dedication, and unwavering determination.

Among the 26 club athletes representing 10 different nationalities, the Paris Saint-Germain judokas were particularly outstanding. They earned 13 medals, with 6 in individual events and 7 in team competitions, proudly representing their countries and leaving a lasting mark on judo history. Notably, two of these medals are gold (won by Teddy Riner), underscoring their dominance on the tatamis.

Football also shone brightly, with Achraf Hakimi and Arnaud Tenas each earning a medal—Bronze and Gold, respectively—for their nations. Additionally, Korbin Albert, the young American women’s football star, made history by winning the Gold medal at the Parc des Princes, marking a significant achievement for her team.

Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, President of Paris Saint-Germain, stated:

"On behalf of the whole Paris Saint-Germain family, we extend our warmest congratulations to our amazing athletes for their outstanding performances at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. We are immensely proud of how they upheld the values of excellence, perseverance and sportsmanship that define our institution. We also thank everyone who supports our athletes daily – their coaches, teams, families and friends. Paris Saint-Germain was honoured to support the Olympics Games over the past fortnight – opening our facilities and providing our people to the city and the world. Congratulations to the IOC and the Paris 2024 Organising Committee for delivering an incredible event – something the whole of Paris will always treasure."

Paris Saint-Germain expresses its deep pride in all its athletes who took part in the Olympic Games, as well as in all its employees who contributed to the success of this event, and sends a special word of support to Sandrine Martinet, who will represent the club and France at the Paralympic Games in Judo.
