Shirley Cruz joins Paris Saint-Germain's coaching staff

Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce that Shirley Cruz has returned to the club, with the Costa Rican joining its women’s team’s coaching staff as a technical assistant.

Having played for Les Rouge et Bleu from 2012 to 2018, Cruz now rejoins the capital club by becoming a technical assistant for its senior women’s team.

In six seasons with Paris Saint-Germain, the then midfielder made 131 appearances, scoring 31 goals and featuring in two Coupe de France finals (in 2014 and 2017) as well as in two UEFA Women’s Champions League finals (in 2015 and 2017).

As one of the club’s iconic ex-players, Cruz will contribute her tactical expertise and her experience in order to bolster Jocelyn Prêcheur’s team of backroom staff.
