Sakina Karchaoui signs for Paris Saint-Germain until 2024

Paris Saint-Germain are delighted to announce the transfer of Sakina Karchaoui to the club from the capital. The France international left-back has signed with Les Rouge et Bleu until 30 June 2024.

Sakina Karchaoui started off at Miramas before joining Montpellier’s youth academy in 2012. She then signed her first professional contract with the club from the Hérault just a year later at 17 years of age. The France international went on to join Olympique Lyonnais in 2020.

The 25-year-old was an U17, U19 and U20 international before being called up to the senior team by former France and Paris Saint-Germain coach Olivier Echouafni. She made her first appearance for Les Bleues on 4 April 2016 against Ukraine, in a Euro 2017 qualifier. Since then she has earned 40 caps for her country. 

The Club would like to welcome Sakina and wish her every success in Rouge et Bleu.
