New women's football sporting director appointed

Paris Saint-Germain are delighted to announce the appointments of Angelo Castellazzi and Sabrina Delannoy as sporting director and assistant sporting director respectively of the women's football department.

Assistant sporting director for men's football from July 2019 to June 2022, Angelo Castellazzi has been appointed the women's football sporting director. The Italian first joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2011 as sporting coordinator, before becoming assistant coach to Carlo Ancelotti. He then worked at Parma Calcio 1913 and Venezia FC in Italy, Antalyaspor in Turkey, Deportivo La Coruña in Spain, followed by AC Milan.

Iconic former women's team captain Sabrina Delannoy joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2005 aged 19. In 12 seasons in Rouge-et-Bleu, the ex-defender played 321 games, a Club record for the women's team. Following the end of her playing career, she joined the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation as deputy director. She will now take on the role of women's football assistant sporting director at the Club.
