Marina Georgieva joins Paris Saint-Germain through to 2024

Women’s Team

Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce the signature of Marina Georgieva. The Austria international has signed a two-year deal with the Rouge et Bleu through to 30 June 2024.

Marina Georgieva began her career in Austria at FK Hainburg before joining ASK Bruck/Leitha. At 15, she signed her first professional contract with SKN St Pölten-Frauen, with whom she won five trophies: two league titles and three Austrian cups.

The defender then moved to Germany in summer 2017 to join FFC Turbine Potsdam for a season before moving SC Sand, where she made 62 competitive appearances.

After playing for both her country’s U17 and U19 teams, Marina Georgieva made her senior international debut in July 2017, reaching the UEFA Women’s EURO semi-finals a few months later. Last July, the 25-year-old played four games at the 2022 Women’s EURO in England.

The Club would like to welcome Marina and wish her every success in a Parisian shirt.
