Lydia Williams signs with Paris Saint-Germain for one season

Paris Saint-Germain are pleased to announce the signing of Lydia Williams on a one-year deal. The Australian goalkeeper will play for the Rouge et Bleu until 30 June 2023.

 

Lydia Williams started her professional career with Canberra United FC in 2008. The 'Matildas' player has gone on to play for eight clubs in four countries around the world.

 

In the last two seasons, the international has played 18 games for Arsenal FC in England.

 

The new keeper played for the Australian U20 team at the age of 18, before being selected for the senior side at the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup in China. Lydia Williams reached the impressive milestone of 100 caps in June this year.

 

The Club is delighted with Lydia's arrival in its squad and wishes her a great season in the Parisian shirt.
