Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the signing of Karina Sævik. The 23-year-old Norwegian midfielder has signed a two-year deal with the capital club until 30 June 2021.

Karina began her career at the tender age of 15, making her debut for Haugar in the Norwegian top flight in 2013.  The following year the midfielder joined Avaldsnes, finishing second in the Norwegian Championship in 2015. At the start of the 2015-2016 season Karina moved to the capital Oslo to play for Kolbotn IL, making 90 appearances and scoring 31 goals.

The midfielder played at all youth levels for the Norwegian national team, earning her first senior cap on 27 February 2019 against Denmark. This summer Karina was called up to play in the World Cup in France and has made 8 appearances, scoring one goal for Norway.

"I am very happy to join Paris Saint-Germain," said Karina Sævik on signing her contract with the Rouge & Bleu. “This club is one of the leaders in European football and it is a real milestone in my career to come to Paris.
