Jade Le Guilly joins Real Sociedad for one season
The French defender joins Real Sociedad on loan until the end of the season, to play in the Primera Iberdrola, the Spanish first division.
Jade Le Guilly started football at 8 years old with AS Vexin Marines (Val-d’Oise), before joining the club from the capital four years later. Firstly on the pitches of the Association Paris Saint-Germain, then for the U19s, as Jade climbed the ranks of the club’s youth set-up. In 2019, she captained her side to be crowned U19 French Champions.
The 20-year-old played her first competitive match for Paris Saint-Germain in December 2020, in the first leg of the Round of 32 of the Champions League against Polish side Gornik Leczna. The defender signed her first professional contract with the club from the capital two months later.
After representing the France U17s and U19s, Jade Le Guilly now plays with the U20s, boasting 12 caps. A few weeks ago, the youth international played in the Women’s U20 World Cup, in Costa Rica, and fell to defeat in the quarterfinals.
Paris Saint-Germain wishes Jade the best for this season in her new colours.
