Eva Gaetino signs for Paris Saint-Germain

Women’s Team

Paris Saint-Germain are delighted to announce the arrival of 21-year-old American U-23 international defender Eva Gaetino.

Eva Gaetino was born in Virginia, USA, but grew up in Dexter, Michigan, where she played football at an early age with the Michigan Hawks.

In 2020, she joined the University of Notre Dame, based in Indiana, and played alongside current Rouge et Bleu midfielder Korbin Albert. In four seasons, the defender played 77 games, contributing 7 goals and 5 assists.

Last season, she contributed to the Fighting Irish team's impressive run to 2nd in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and 3rd in the NCAA tournament, the national university championship.

Her performances earned her the title of ACC Defender of the Year in 2022 and 2023.

With the national team, the American played 5 matches for the U23 squad, including two against France in February 2023 (2-0 victory and 1-1 draw).

The Club would like to welcome Eva to the Rouge et Bleu squad.
