The Paris Saint-Germain judokas shine at the European Championships

The Paris Saint-Germain judokas won three European Championship medals, in Sofia (Bulgaria). Marie-Ève Gahié (-70 kg) and Romane Dicko (+78 kg) won the continental title, and Amandine Buchard (-52 kg) won the silver medal.

With three medals from three athletes who took part, Paris Saint-Germain Judo is ranked as the best French club at the 2022 European Championships, which took place over the last three days in Sofia.

On Friday, during the first individual events, Amandine Buchard won the silver medal in -52 kg, losing in the final against the British judoka Chelsie Giles. 

On the second day of competition, Marie-Ève Gahié (-70 kg) finished on top of the podium, beating the defending champion, Sanne Van Dijke, in the final.

After her victory over Israel's Raz Hershko in the final, Romane Dicko (+70 kg) won her third consecutive European gold medal, after Tel Aviv (2018) and Prague (2020).

Their performance in these European Championships is remarkable. These performances reward their daily work and confirm our common ambitions for the years to come.
