Luca Otmane extends his contract with Paris Saint-Germain Judo

Paris Saint-Germain Judo is delighted to announce Luca Otmane has extended his contract by two years, taking the 2021 under-73kg French champion through to 31 August 2024 with the Club.

Silver medallist at the French championships in 2017 and 2019, the Nice-born judoka won his first French title in Rouen in 2018.

Last season, Luca Otmane repeated that feat, just a few weeks after winning the European Open in Malaga (Spain). In December, he helped Paris Saint-Germain win the Europa League Club European Championship in Prague (Czech Republic).

In the second half of the season, he contributed to the Rouge-et-Bleu’s victory at the French Division 1 Team Championship where Paris Saint-Germain won both the men’s and women’s competitions. Luca recently won gold at the European Open in Italy.

“I’m very happy to continue my career in the colours of Paris Saint-Germain,” he said. “I would like to thank the Club for the confidence they have shown in me with this contract extension. Last season was very encouraging with individual and team titles, but I’m aware that I still have progress to make to be a better judoka. My ambition remains the same: to show Paris Saint-Germain’s colours proudly on the tatami.”
