Paris Saint-Germain wins the 2023 Trophée des Champions

Following their 35-25 win over HBC Nantes at the Glaz Arena in Cesson-Sévigné on Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain were awarded the 2023 Trophée des Champions.

Raul Gonzalez's side win the fifth Trophée des Champions in the history of Paris Saint-Germain Handball, following their successes in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2019.

With five titles in 13 editions, the Parisian have an unparalleled record in this competition.

The win saw Luka Karabatic and his team-mates claim the 25th trophy in the capital club's history and the 22nd since it was bought by QSI in the summer of 2012: Ten French Championships, four Coupes de France, three Coupes de la Ligue and five Trophée des Champions.

"This victory in the Trophée des Champions is the reward for our team's excellent preparations over the summer. Our players put in an exemplary display on the court this evening, showing great fighting spirit and solidarity. We've managed to win another title. Now we can't wait to get the championship underway."

Thierry Omeyer, General Manager of Paris Saint-Germain Handball
