Nedim Remili extends his contract with Paris Saint-Germain Handball

Paris Saint-Germain Handball is happy to announce the extension of Nedim Remili’s contract for two extra seasons. The right-back in now linked to the Club through to 2022.

The 23-year-old France international, who came up through the ranks at US Créteil, has just begun his third season in the red and blue of Paris Saint-Germain Handball.

With the Rouge et Bleu, Nedim Remili has already won successive French league titles (2017, 2018), one Coupe de France (2018), two Coupes de la Ligue (2017, 2018) and one Trophée des Champions (2016).

The number 18’s performances have been widely lauded, notably with the award for the best young player in the Champions League in season 2016-17.

With the France team, Nedim Remili won a world title in 2017, earning the title of best right-back of the tournament in the process, and then a bronze medal at the European championships in January 2018.

“This contract extension is another big step in my career,” declared Nedim Remili after putting pen to paper. “I have a been a fervent fan of this club ever since I was a kid, and I’m extremely proud to sign for Paris Saint-Germain for the long haul. I absolutely wanted to continue my adventure here. Our team has been built to win titles this season and in the seasons to come. I will contribute all I can in order to bring more titles to my favourite club.”

“We’re very happy to prolong Nedim Remili’s deal,” announced the Club’s General Manager Jean-Claude Blanc. “He has once again proven his attachment to the Club, by signing a long-term contract despite the interest of some big foreign clubs. Since his arrival, Nedim has improved to the point of being one of the very best in the world in his position. He’s a player who still has a lot of untapped potential and who will be a major asset in our squad.”
