A new record for Paris Saint-Germain Handball

Paris Saint-Germain Handball has had a historic first half of the season with a new record number of members, keeping it at the top of the national rankings.

For the first time in its history, Paris Saint-Germain Handball has passed the 800 member mark. With a total of 814 members, a new record has been reached, the previous one dating from last season, during which 757 licences were registered. This figure has enabled the Parisian club to become the national leader.

The association now has 39 teams supervised by 17 salaried coaches and almost 70% of its current members are under 20 years old.

Through the Rouge & Bleu club, handball is played throughout the city of Paris, in 12 municipal halls.

The success of the organisation is also reflected in its convincing sporting results, with a total of 74 departmental titles, 12 regional titles and 5 national titles. From U13 to U18, all the men's and women's teams are playing at the highest level in their respective categories.

This regularity in performance has enabled several players who have passed through the association to join the first team of Paris Saint-Germain Handball, such as the current left-winger Adama Keita.

In addition to sports activities, the Club has set up a series of solidarity and civic actions, off the pitch, to offer its members human and educational initiatives.

The approach to progress and development targets all types of people: interventions in disadvantaged neighbourhoods, with people with disabilities, discovering handball and helping young girls with homework problems, activities with young people who do not go on holiday or developing sport for all and healthy sport (Handfit).
