Timothée Pembélé loaned to Girondins de Bordeaux

Under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2024, the French defender has been loaned to FC Girondins de Bordeaux until June 30 2022.

Born in Beaumont-sur-Oise (Val d’Oise) he joined the Academy in 2015, at the age of 15. Two years later, he won the French league title with the Paris Saint-Germain Under-17s team.

Timothée Pembélé signed his first professional contract with the club in 2018. Part of the squad for the Final 8 in the UEFA Champions League, that took place in August 2020, in Lisbon. The following season, the versatile defender regularly featured in the first team squad and made his first first team appearances (9 matches, 1 goal).

First selected at national level with France's Under-16s (11 matches), Under-17s (9 matches) and Under-18s (9 matches, 3 buts), he was called up to take part in the Tokyo Olympics (1 match).

The club wishes Timothée a great season with Girondins de Bordeaux so that he develops the qualities he's already shown in the Rouge et Bleu shirt.
