Kevin Rimane joins FC Hermannstadt

The versatile defender/midfielder moves to the Romanian club on a permanent deal.

The 28-year-old from Cayenne in French Guiana joined the Paris Saint-Germain Youth Academy in 2008, winning a French championship two years later with the U19 team.

In total Kevin made five appearances and won five titles with the Rouge & Bleu senior team: three Ligue 1 Championships (2016, 2018, 2019), one Trophée des Champions (2018) and one Coupe de France (2016), with his name on the teamsheet of the final won 4-2 against Olympique Marseille.

Rimane also became a mainstay of the Paris Saint-Germain reserve team from 2014 onwards, after three seasons at Boulogne-sur-Mer.

In February 2019 he joined NK Istra 1961 on loan, finishing 9th in the Croatian Championship.

The Club wishes Kevin the best in the challenges that now await him at FC Hermannstadt, in the city of Sibiu in Transylvania.
