Idrissa Gueye joins Everton FC
Senegal international Idrissa Gueye has joined English Premier League side Everton FC on a permanent basis.
Born in Dakar in 1989, Idrissa Gueye signed for LOSC in 2008 after coming through the Diambars Institute in Senegal. He was part of the northerners’ Ligue 1 title-winning side of 2010/11 before crossing the Channel in 2015.
After several seasons with Aston Villa and Everton, the midfielder joined Paris Saint-Germain in summer 2019. Over the following three years, he helped the Rouge-et-Bleu lift a number of trophies, most recently the 2021/22 Ligue 1 title and the 2022 Trophée des Champions.
