Azzedine Toufiqui moves to Caen

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Azzedine Toufiqui has joined the Ligue 2 Normandy-based club on a permanent deal

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder was born in Caen, but moved to the Paris Saint-Germain Youth Academy in 2015. Azzedine went on to win the 2015-2016 French U17 title with Paris Saint-Germain, beating St Etienne in the final.

Over the next two seasons, Toufiqui turned out 7 times in the UEFA Youth League with the Rouge & Bleu U19 team. From 2017 to 2019 he also made 34 appearances for the reserve team in the National 2 division.

The Club thanks Azzedine for his dedication throughout his time at Paris Saint-Germain and wishes him all the best for the rest of his professional career.
