Paris Saint-Germain successfully completes its pre-season China Tour presented by ALL-Accor Live Limitless

French Ligue 1 Champions Paris Saint-Germain wrapped up its 11-day, three-match tour of China in partnership with its principal sponsor ALL-Accor Live Limitless, beating Stade Rennais F.C. in front of 25,000+ fans in Shenzhen at the Shenzhen Universiade Sports Centre to lift the Trophée des Champions.

 

The 2019 China Tour presented by ALL-Accor Live Limitless was the team’s third tour to China in the last six years, with 2019’s tour being the most successful to-date.

In China, the club and ALL gained hundreds of thousands of new followers across all digital channels, including Weibo, WeChat, Douyin, and Toutiao, and there was 38 million official tour hashtag reads. Videos on the Club’s social media gained a total of 103 million views generating 65,758 comments. The Club appeared in over 230+ key media articles achieving a potential reach of more than 32 million. ALL gained over 250+ key media articles, TV clips and social media posts with a total viewership of over 12 million.

On a global scale, there were a total of 652 posts on all Paris Saint-Germain’s social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube) generating a reach of 330 million. More than 9,000 web articles have been published by key media generating a potential reach of 12 billion.

Altogether, over 60,000 people filled stadiums to support the Rouge & Bleu against Inter Milan in Macau on the 27th July, Australian champions Sydney FC on 30th July in Suzhou, and on 3rd August in Shenzhen against French side Stade Rennais F.C. More than 1,500 delighted fans attended the many open training sessions delivered by the Club, while hundreds of lucky fans took part in PSG Academy sessions in partnership with ALL, the principal sponsor and the Club’s Chinese sponsor PingAn.

Throughout the tour, the players got to meet & greet with fans and participated in a large number of media & community activities and activations, including an original jersey launch at the Jordan Store, a unique fashion extravaganza at Raffles Shenzhen by ALL - Accor Live Limitless, a Discover Shenzhen tour, community visits, children’s training clinics and much more.

Throughout the tour, the Club, players, and staff were regularly appreciated by the media and the general public for the time they spent with fans for autograph signing, photographs, and conversations. The players and staff thoroughly enjoyed themselves and flew back to Paris with fond memories of a successful 2019 Tour, both on and off the pitch.
