PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN LAUNCHES ITS FIRST ESPORTS ACADEMY

The Parisian club continue its ambitious development in Esports, with the launch of an Esports section within the Paris Saint-Germain Academy and the opening of a dedicated area for players.

The red and blue club, which was already a pioneer by being the first of the major soccer clubs to launch in Esports in 2016, is increasing its presence in this area and announces the launch of two new programs: a 100% digital and a physical venue.

In Esports, Paris Saint-Germain has always sought to transpose the values and philosophy it conveys onto soccer pitches or into the locker room. Whether it be in the quest for performance, by addressing players of all levels, or in training and education, at the heart of the club's project.

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN ACADEMY ESPORTS ONLINE

From December 10th, a new booking platform for private lessons "Paris Saint-Germain Academy Esports" will be available online. It has been developed in partnership with GamerCoach, a specialist in online video game coaching and is aimed at players of all levels.

This coaching platform, focused on training and coaching amateur players, will enable video game fans to book individual online lessons with professional players from the Esports scene.

These coaches have followed the Paris Saint-Germain "Academy" training course, which aims to make its players more efficient by enabling them to adapt to all game situations encountered.

Above all, the aim is to promote the ethical and responsible practice of video games among young gamers. Thus, all coaches are made aware of the right behaviors, such as controlling the time spent or setting limits, in order to play in ideal conditions and give themselves every chance to progress.

A NEW LOCATION: THE PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN STUDIO

The Red & Blue club will soon be opening a space dedicated to sports and digital activities at its headquarters in Boulogne-Billancourt. The Paris Saint-Germain studio will welcome new generations of players. It is a contemporary, ultra-connected space, conducive to the practice of sports at all levels and the creation of digital content.

In particular, this multifunctional space will host Esports training sessions for children and adults, supervised by Paris Saint-Germain coaches.

It will also be the future residence of the Parisian club's professional teams, who will use it as a meeting point and training center during their visits to the capital.

At least one gathering per year is planned for all the club's star players, including Dota 2, League of Legends, FIFA and Brawl Stars.

Finally, this place will also serve as a recording studio, thanks to a technical installation conducive to the creation of digital video and audio content (podcasts, streaming, clips, etc.).

More global trainings on digital activities, on topics such as social network management, influence strategies and communication, will also be provided.

The launch of this space is planned for the first half of 2021.
