The first team squad will travel to Shenzhen, Macao and Suzhou as part of its pre-season tour in partnership with the club’s global sponsor, All, from July 23 to August 3 in preparation for the 2019/20 season.

The Asia Summer Tour’s curtain raiser will take place at the Macao Olympic Sports Center with the eagerly-awaited clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Suning-owned Italian giants Inter Milan on Saturday July 27, and the Parisians will then travel north to the Suzhu Olympic Sports Center where they face the might of LaLiga’s Espanyol onTuesday July 30.

Macao’s match between Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan marks the 20th anniversary of Macao’s Special Administrative Region, as well as the 55th year of China-France diplomatic relations. PSG against Espanyol introduces the first major international football commercial event to take place in Suzhou, and will pit Paris Saint-Germain against China’s captain Wu Lei who was recently snapped up by Espanyol.

Sebastien Wasels, Paris Saint-Germain Managing Director Asia Pacific said: “We are excited to build upon the success of our Asia Tour last year and the launch of our Asia Pacific office with the announcement of our tour in China this summer. We will be playing 3 matches across 3 different cities, reaffirming our strong commitment to China and offering unique experiences to our Chinese fans and partners.”

Maxwell Scherrer, Paris Saint-Germain Legend and First Team Sporting Coordinator declared: “All the team are very enthusiastic to come back to China. This will be the third time for the club, following two successful campaigns in 2014 and 2018. We are especially delighted to discover two cities where Paris Saint-Germain has never played before and to come back here to Shenzhen, a city and a stadium we know from last year. It is a very exciting time. Passion for football is more intense than ever in China and we want to continue to build strong ties with the local fans.”
