About Raí

Captain of the Brazilian national team upon his arrival in France, Raí joined Paris Saint-Germain in 1993 and quickly established himself as an essential figure. A world-class attacking midfielder, "Capt’aine Raí" played 215 matches, scored 72 goals, and provided 30 assists for the Red & Blue jersey between 1993 and 1998. A Brazilian international (49 caps, 15 goals), 1994 World Cup champion, Raí helped the capital club win the prestigious Cup Winners' Cup in 1996. He also won a French Championship (Division 1), two French Cups, two League Cups, and one Trophée des Champions, solidifying his status as a true PSG icon. For the club's 50th anniversary, Raí was named the best player in the history of PSG.
