Paris Saint-Germain and Jordan team up for Chinese launch of an iconic infrared jersey for the 2019/2020 season
A year on from the successful start of their collaboration and a few weeks after the high-profile launch of the third Paris Saint-Germain x Jordan lifestyle collection, the Parisian club has once again teamed up with the Jumpman logo for its official shirt.
Presented by the Rouge & Bleu players before a crowd of over 200 local fans at the Jordan store in Shenzhen, as part of the club summer tour of China, the 2019/20 away shirt boasts the iconic infrared colour so well known to fans of Jordan sneakers.
For the second season running, Paris Saint-Germain is the only football club in the world to unveil sports and lifestyle pieces co-designed with the Jordan brand. The club from Paris, the capital of fashion, has consolidated its position as a brand that combines sport and style, which brought it unprecedented popular success last season.
The shirt also bears the logo of All – Accor Live Limitless, the new main partner of Paris Saint-Germain’s men’s and women’s football teams.
The jersey, which will be worn by leading players such as Kylian Mbappé, Marco Verratti and Marie-Antoinette Katoto, is framed by black trim on the collar and sleeves. The same black also details the shorts and appears on the socks in the shape of a double horizontal hoop just below the knee.
On the reverse of the collar there is an ode to Paris, a city now synonymous with Jordan and set to be lit up by an infrared glow in 2019-20.
The team will debut the kit on their summer tour of China, wearing it for the first time on July 27 against Inter Milan. It is available now from nike.com and psg.fr.
