EA SPORTS and Paris Saint-Germain renew partnership

Paris Saint-Germain and video game developer Electronic Arts have renewed the partnership that has seen them work closely together since 2011. This renewal extends the partnership through to 2024 and broadens the scope, making EA SPORTS one of the most committed partners for the club from the French capital.

Thanks to this new partnership, FIFA 20 will include additional club assets which will provide players even more realistic content. It also includes the co-creation of digital content and setting up international events throughout the season as well as during the club’s pre-season tours.

Marc Armstrong, Chief Partnerships Officer at Paris Saint-Germain, said: “We are proud to have EA SPORTS as one of our most loyal partners. Given their status as one of the leading sports video game publishers and the creators of EA SPORTS FIFA – the most realistic sports simulation in the world of video gaming – we are delighted that they have chosen to underline their commitment to the club by stepping up their involvement and becoming one of Paris Saint-Germain’s premium partners.

We look forward to designing and building major new projects together in the years to come, especially in the digital area. We know that a large proportion of the people who engage with Paris Saint-Germain, not least our fans all over the world, regularly play the various games created by EA SPORTS. The extension of this partnership is also a way for the club to strengthen its relationship with its fans.

Antoine Cohet, Sr Marketing Manager at Electronic Arts added: “We are delighted to have renewed our partnership today with Paris Saint-Germain, one of the most influential football clubs in the world, who we have built a great relationship with over many years.

We have chosen to strengthen our commitment to the club and give ourselves the freedom to create new content that will captivate the community. Paris Saint-Germain’s fans will continue to have the chance to play with their club and their favourite players with increasingly unrivalled authenticity on FIFA.”
